About ICP Meetings
ICP Biennial Meetings are held in odd numbered years (example: 2013, 2015, 2017, 2019). ICP members in good standing for two (2) or more consecutive years receive the lowest discounted registration fee to all Biennial Meetings. New ICP members (those that join during a conference year) also receive a discounted registration fee.
Presentations during Biennial Meetings
Presenters at ICP Biennial Meetings must be members of the ICP. All ICP members, in good standing, are encouraged to submit abstract papers for oral and poster presentations.
ICP Board Meeting during Biennial Meetings & Member Participation
Your ICP officers and councilors meet during Biennial Meetings to work on business matters of the ICP and report to the membership during the ICP Business Luncheon. Prior to all Biennial Meetings (at least 60 days prior), ICP Members are encouraged to contact their officers, councilors and/or ICP Administration Office to submit their suggestions, concerns and general considerations to be included on the ICP Board Meeting Agenda. Contact information for officers and councilors are found on the "Administration" tab of your website. We welcome comments or suggestions that will advance your ICP organization. Member Business Meeting during Biennial Meetings
All ICP members are encouraged to attend and participate at the Biennial Meeting Business Luncheons to assist with the development of your organization. Dates and Agenda of ICP Member Business Meeting are posted on your Member's page, "ICP Meetings" icon
Site Selection of Biennial Meetings
ICP meetings rotate systematically through the following regions:
- Asia/India/South Pacific
- Europe/Africa/Middle East
Consideration for future ICP meetings may be submitted to the ICP Administration Office, officers and councilors. Please submit your suggestion at least three (3) months prior to ICP Board Meetings (Biennial or Interim). Site selections are reviewed six (6) years in advance of meeting date. After extensive review of preliminary site proposals, acceptable locations are presented to the ICP for approval, four (4) years prior to meeting date.
Your ICP has established a "Site Selection Guidelines" for consideration of future ICP Biennial Meeting locations. Guidelines can be review by ICP members on your Member's Page, on the "Document" icon. Members are encouraged to review this document for a rational of how your future meeting sites are selected.
INTERIM ICP BOARD MEETINGS
ICP officers and councilors meet in even numbered years (example: 2016, 2018, 2020). Interim Board Meetings are by invitation only, for those colleagues who participate in the business matters of the ICP.
Prior to all Interim Meetings (at least 60 days prior), ICP Members are encouraged to contact their Administration Office, officers and/or councilors to submit their suggestions, concerns and general considerations to be included on the ICP Interim Board Meeting Agenda.
The next ICP Interim Board Meeting will be in 2022.
