The International College of Prosthodontists (ICP) maintains this web site to enhance public access to inform others about the organization, its members, meetings and related activities. The ICP web site is continually under development. We will make every effort to keep this site current and to correct errors brought to our attention.

By accessing or using the ICP site you signify your acknowledgment and agree to our policies. If you disagree to this statement or any material within this site, please do not use this site. If you are dissatisfied with this web site, or any portion thereof, your exclusive remedy shall be to stop using the web site.

Information Collect on the ICP site

Information collected on the ICP web site is used to assist our members and the general public. Our members and visitors knowingly provide information voluntarily. The ICP reserves the right to revise any information policy at any time with notice to its users. Any use of the web site after such change is deemed acceptable by the user. The ICP respects the privacy of members and all users to this site.

Database Cookies

Cookies are files that contain information created by a Web server that can be stored on a user’s hard disk for use either during a particular session (“per-session” cookie) or for future use (“persistent” cookie). The ICP uses cookies only to facilitate automated activity, store and track passwords, determine appropriate solicitations, and review navigation patterns. If the user declines the attachment of any cookie, the user may not have access to the full benefits of the website. Registration enables the site to better determine members' interest areas and provide the most relevant information.

Cookies are not used to disseminate significant information about users via the Internet or to analyze any information that users have knowingly or unknowingly provided. When a user registers, the system will ask whether the user approves of the attachment of a cookie. Users may instruct their Internet browsers to opt out of accepting a “persistent” cookie and rather accept only a “per-session” cookie, but will need to login each time they visit the site to enjoy the full benefits.

ICP “Member Page” & Conference Registration

To gain access to “member only” pages, resources and other personal features, members and other users are asked to register and provide contact and personal prosthodontic information. This information is submitted voluntarily. The ICP asks members and Organizational members to provide their name, member number (for members), contact information and e-mail address for confirmations and receipts.

New member and conference registration requires colleagues to complete application forms for membership status and conference or seminar registration. Additionally, for some e-mails may be sent to its members The ICP may choose to monitor whether a recipient receives message and from time to time may ask colleagues to complete surveys. ICP only uses this information to provide services and distribution to its membership. Information gathered by the ICP is not sold for distribution.

Conference Cancellation Policy & Liability

By Conference Delegate:

A refund, less administrative fee (see conference website), will be issued only with a “written cancellation request” received on or before deadline date (see conference website). Telephone cancellations are not accepted. Registration fees will be refunded to person who paid fees, by the same method of payment (i.e. credit card, check, etc.). In the case of a credit card payment, only to the same credit card used to pay fees. No refunds after deadline date (see conference website).

By ICP:

The ICP reserves the right to cancel, shorten, delay, or otherwise alter or change meeting in their discretion. If the entire meeting is cancelled the ICP sole obligation is to refund fees paid to ICP for the meeting. If the meeting is delayed, shortened or otherwise altered or changed the ICP is under no obligation to refund conference registration fees. Fees will only be refunded to the person who paid fees, by the same method as the original payment (i.e. credit card, check, etc.) and in the case of a credit card only to the same credit card used to pay fees. ICP is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or damages of any other kind, regardless of the nature of the cause of action that may be asserted. ICP is not responsible and shall not pay for costs associated with travel, airfare, lodging, food, transportation or other costs or losses incurred by a registrant in connection with the meeting or as a result of the meeting being cancelled, shortened, delayed, or otherwise altered or changed. Registrants are solely responsible for such costs and losses and it is recommended that registrants consider purchasing sufficient insurance to cover such costs and losses. Under no circumstances shall the ICP liability to any registrant exceed the registration fees paid by the registrant to ICP in connection with the meeting.

“Find an ICP Prosthodontists” Disclosure

ICP member contact information is available on the ICP web page: “Find an ICP Prosthodontists”. Members voluntary elect to post their information on the ICP web to share with other members. Members can also elect to not post information. Members may contact ICP office at icp@icp-org.com or 1-858-270-1814 to express their preferences if they determine later that they do not wish to have their information shared.

Credit Card Account Information

The ICP does not disclose credit card account information provided. When members and non-members choose to pay using their credit cards, the ICP submits the information needed to obtain payment to the appropriate clearinghouse.

Terms of Use

Users of the ICP website are subject to these Terms of Use, plus any additional terms and conditions posted at specific portions of the site.

Nature of a dynamic web site

The ICP website is a dynamic website, and changes are made regularly. All information is posted by its members upon registration and remains as posted until updated. If members want to make changes to their personal information they must log-in to their respective member page and update their records.
